The Role - 1:1 Teaching Assistant

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a Year 4 pupil who is non-verbal and currently working at an Early Years stage. You'll be based in a small, well supported class of 6 pupils with 3 additional adults.Your role will involve helping the pupil to access learning through visual and sensory-based activities, encouraging communication, and supporting emotional regulation and independence. The pupil currently attends until 1:00 pm, with the goal of becoming full-time at the school. This is a hands on, rewarding role that requires patience, empathy, and creativity. Working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 45-minute lunch break.
