Hourly Rate: £35 - £40

We are seeking a Teacher of Engineering for an immediate start at our college. This role involves teaching levels 1 to 3 in engineering manufacturing at a further education sixth form college, catering to students aged 16 and above. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are passionate about engineering and have a commitment to student development.

Day-to-day of the role:

Deliver engaging and informative lessons in engineering manufacturing to students at levels 1 to 3.

Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the curriculum and student needs.

Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and participate in professional development activities.

Ensure compliance with college policies and health and safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in teaching engineering at further education level.

Must possess an enhanced DBS check.

Strong understanding of the engineering manufacturing curriculum for levels 1 to 3.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.

Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
