About the Role

A leading private implant and restorative dentistry centre in Stockport is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Nurse to join its growing clinical team. This modern, digitally advanced practice specialises in dental implants, full-arch rehabilitation, and complex restorative treatments, offering a high-quality, patient-centred environment.

Role Overview

The Dental Nurse will support implantologists, restorative dentists, and hygienists during surgical and restorative procedures. You will assist with chairside duties, sterilisation, patient care, digital workflows, and clinical preparations essential to implant dentistry.

A strong understanding of clinical standards, infection control, and surgical assistance is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide chairside assistance during implant surgeries, restorative procedures, and consultations
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to high clinical standards
  • Support digital workflows including intraoral scanning, photography, and implant system preparation
  • Maintain strict cross-infection and sterilisation protocols
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and clear communication
  • Assist with clinical documentation, medical histories, and treatment notes
  • Manage stock, ordering, and surgical kit organisation
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians, technicians, and administrative staff

Essential Requirements

  • GDC-registered Dental Nurse
  • Experience in implant or surgical dentistry
  • Strong understanding of cross-infection and CQC requirements
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work efficiently in a specialist clinical environment
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally during complex procedures
