Senior Client Accountant | Leeds City Centre (LS1) | Hybrid Working Ready to step out of practice or professional services and into a more commercial, client-facing role—without losing the technical depth you’ve built? This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant from audit, practice, or broader professional services to transition into industry. You’ll join a high-performing finance team where your expertise will directly influence reporting, insight, and decision-making. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance, delivering high-quality financial reporting while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.What You’ll Be Doing

• Owning the preparation and review of management accounts and balance sheets
• Leading month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting
• Producing insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs
• Acting as a key contact for audits, handling queries with confidence
• Reviewing payment runs and approvals to ensure accuracy and control
• Delivering meaningful MI and financial analysis to support decision-making
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Background in audit, practice, or professional services (industry experience is a bonus, not essential)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator who enjoys working with clients and stakeholders
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proactive, organised, and comfortable taking ownership
