You'll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them feel confident, understood and ready to take on the day. And don't worry if you want to grow your skills, we offer free CPD-accredited courses so you can keep developing your knowledge of SEND.

What you'll be doing:

Championing pupils by providing calm and consistent 1:1 support

Putting plans into action, helping teachers deliver tailored learning that really works

Keeping students engaged and breaking tasks down so every child can succeed

Managing tricky moments with positivity and strong behaviour strategies

Building relationships with teachers, parents and professionals so each child feels fully supported

Creating a nurturing space where children feel safe, included and ready to learn

This role is hands on, rewarding and full of those little moments that remind you why you work in education.

What we're looking for:

Right to work in the UK

A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one

Experience supporting children with SEND

An understanding that every learner is different

Patience, empathy and a genuinely supportive spirit

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
