Experienced Financial Planner - Warrington AreaEquity Opportunity | Shape the Future of a Growing, Independent Firm
Salary negotiable to around £70K plus bonus and benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a long-established, family-run firm of Financial Planners based in the Warrington area. With over 20 years of successful trading, a solid financial foundation, and £350 million of client funds under management, the business is now entering a new phase of strategic growth.
Following two years of investment in refining their processes, proposition, and technology, they are now focused on organic growth and are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Financial Planner to join their team.
About the Firm This highly respected firm delivers holistic financial planning services to private clients, with a particular focus on pre- and post-retirement advice. Their average client household holds approximately £1M in FUM, and services include investment management, pension planning, estate planning, trusts, tax planning, and cash flow modelling using Voyant. They also offer a comprehensive MPS solution and pride themselves on delivering truly personalised advice.
The firm remains proudly independent, with no plans to join or sell to a consolidator. Instead, they are committed to long-term, sustainable growth through building strong, lasting client relationships and nurturing internal talent.
The Role This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Financial Planner to take on a role that goes beyond advice delivery. As a senior hire, you will:
-
Help drive new business growth and bring fresh energy to the firm’s strategic ambitions
-
Be introduced to warm opportunities via the firm’s GPP Consultant, who manages several large Corporate Pension Schemes with strong potential for conversion to wealth clients
-
Leverage existing solicitor and accountant relationships, with facilitated introductions
-
Be supported to grow your own client bank, particularly if you are able to bring clients post-covenant, or have professional introducer connections
-
Take a leadership role in the management team, helping shape the direction of the firm
What’s in it for You? -
A genuine opportunity to become part of a firm’s long-term future, with clear equity potential for the right individual
-
A strong, client-centric business with high retention and a solid reputation
-
A team-focused, collaborative environment with a leadership team that values input and new ideas
-
Full operational support, a modern tech stack, and a proposition built for scale
About You -
Level 4 qualified as a minimum (Chartered status or progression towards it is desirable)
-
Demonstrable experience advising HNW clients on holistic financial planning
-
Ideally able to bring some clients or introducer relationships with you (post-covenant if applicable)
-
Entrepreneurial and growth-minded, with a desire to take ownership and be part of something bigger
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for building long-term relationships
This is more than just a job - it’s a chance to build your future alongside a respected, independent firm with strong values and serious ambition.
