Daniel Owen Recruitment are currently seeking experienced and reliable PTS Cleaners for an immediate start in Ashford. We are working in partnership with a leading facilities management company supporting the rail industry, and we are looking to expand our cleaning team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety across key locations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who hold a valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) card and are looking to work in a stable, supportive, and safety-focused environment. Whether you have experience in rail cleaning or come from a similar background in commercial or industrial cleaning, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

Carry out general cleaning duties across trains, stations, platforms, and depots

Ensure that all areas are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation

Use appropriate cleaning materials and equipment safely and effectively

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly

Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and instructions

Work independently and as part of a wider team to meet targets and deadlines

Requirements:

Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) card - Essential

Flexibility for weekend shifts
Previous cleaning experience required (rail experience is a strong advantage)

Good understanding of health and safety standards in a safety-critical environment

Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and attention to detail
