LTA / Reed Education are seeking a School Cover Manager to provide support at an outstanding and forward-thinking Secondary school in the Preston area. This new School Cover Manager role is a full-time temporary position covering 5 days per week (08:00 - 16:00). This role is starting as soon as possible and then ongoing for the right candidate for 1 year (Maternity Contract).
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within a school office environment. Previous experience of working SIMS, Pupil Services and Admissions data is desirable for this role.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
• A very high standard of communication skills, accurate use of spelling and grammar
• Experience of working in a school office or similar setting.
• Experience with using school administrative and financial systems, E.g. SIMS
• Commitment to professional development and a keenness to learn
• Hardworking and flexible, and able to use their initiative
• Have the ability to develop good relationships with children and adults
• Commitment to Safeguarding
