This position is supporting a fun loving lady in her 50’s in the Wollaton, in her own home. This lady suffers from Friedreich’s ataxia and is a wheelchair and hoist user. This lady will need support and assistance in her home with personal care and day to day domestic duties such as preparing food, as well as accessing the local community such as going shopping in town using the local bus service. Other duties may include bathing, dressing and medication administration.

The ideal candidate will be kind, considerate, a good time keeper and have a caring disposition. 
 

We require sometime to work day time hours and occasional nights on a Friday and would be willing to support with holiday cover when needed. Day shifts are between usually 7-10hours.

Requirements: Speak good English, Some experience personal or professional working with disabilities, ‘Person centred support’
