Herts Resourcing Group (HRG) is currently working with a college in Cambridgeshire and we’re looking for a Assistant Head of Department for the Multi-Skills & Trowel Trades team. In your role as the Assistant Head of Department for Multi-Skills & Trowel Trades, your responsibilities will include assisting the Head of Department in overseeing and enhancing the curriculum for Study Programmes, Apprenticeships, and Adult courses. You will also manage staff
and resources within the Multi-Skills & Trowel Trades area across two campuses. Furthermore, you will contribute to improving student outcomes by upholding high performance standards, tracking progress, monitoring results, and motivating both staff and students.
Must have:
- Must hold Level 5 teaching qualification
- You must have construction industry qualification
- Must hold or working towards IQA Award or equivalent
- You must hold a valid drivers licence and have access to a vehicle
- The right to work in the UK.
Ideally have:
- DBS on the update service.
- Experience leading a team
- Experience of managing study programmes
