Site Technician

CTR Select is recruiting for a specialist in high-end interior systems based in Camberley, Surrey and they are seeking a Site Technician to join their installation team. You will be responsible for installing ceiling systems and integrated lighting across projects throughout the UK and occasionally Europe. This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring travel, overnight stays, and flexible working hours.

Site Technician Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and load tools, equipment, and materials for site installations

* Install ceilings, lighting, and related accessories to specification

* Work safely at height using MEWPs, mobile towers, and other access equipment

* Maintain tools, PPE, and vehicles in excellent condition

* Complete site documentation and progress reports

* Support snagging, surveys, and post-installation maintenance

* Travel across the UK and Europe, including overnight stays

Site Technician Person Specification

Essential:

* Practical experience in installation, interiors, lighting, or similar trades

* Physically fit and able to work at height

* Strong health & safety awareness

* Ability to read and follow installation drawings

* Full UK Driving Licence

* CSCS Card, IPAF or PASMA certification

* Willingness to travel, work overnight, and flexible hours

* Good communication and teamworking skills

Desirable:

* Experience in joinery, AV, lighting, or modular interior installations

* Construction or electrical training/college background

* Swimming ability for occasional water-adjacent projects
