HGV Mechanic - 2 Years Experience Required - Stoke-on-Trent - Permanent Role.

£20.00 per hour

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm

Silver Arrow require an experienced HGV Mechanic to work for an independent used vehicle specialist company based in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

Your Role:

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out detailed analysis
• Preventative and routine maintenance
• Servicing vehicles
• General repairs and resolving minor issues
• MOT preparation and presentation

• You will be working on a wide range of commercial vehicles, predominantly 18 tonnes and above, using modern diagnostic tools in a state of the-art, insulated workshop with an ATF-standard lane

What we need from you:

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong knowledge of engines, clutches, gearboxes, and braking systems
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A proactive, can-do attitude
• Class 1 (C+E) licence - essential
