Our client, a leading specialist in innovative building solutions, is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join their expanding commercial team. This is a key role focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and qualify new business opportunities with key decision-makers

Maintain and accurately update all activity and pipeline information using the CRM system (Deltek)

Consistently meet or exceed KPIs and personal sales targets

Stay fully informed on all product, pricing, and specification updates

Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and corporate hospitality to build networks and elevate brand presence

Confidently present tailored quotations and solutions to new and existing clients

Use a consultancy-led sales approach to promote multi-product solutions

Conduct targeted research and campaigns to proactively generate new leads

Maintain strong awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and industry shifts

Deliver high levels of client service, resolving escalated complaints when required

Ensure all departmental workflows and sales processes are followed

Manage and grow existing accounts while ensuring healthy profit margins and increasing average order values

Maintain a robust sales pipeline and cadence through self-monitoring and reporting

Act as a brand ambassador for our client, upholding values and professionalism in all interactions

Contribute actively to team development and business improvement initiatives

Undertake additional responsibilities as reasonably requested by the Head of Sales

About You:

Proven success in a B2B sales or business development role within the facades/roofing/cladding sector

Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to tailor solutions

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

High level of commercial awareness and strategic thinking

Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team

Proficient with CRM systems (experience with Deltek is advantageous)

Results-driven with a proactive and professional approach
