Staff Partners is proud to partner with an outstanding independent day school setting in Lancaster to recruit a permanent Speech & Language Therapist on a maternity cover contract.
You'll work with children and young people with a range of complex needs including autism, ADHD, sensory processing issues, speech and language difficulties, SEMH needs, and developmental trauma. Your work will help unlock their full potential — one meaningful interaction at a time.

What You'll Do?

* Deliver therapeutic interventions based on individual assessments

* Collaborate with teaching, care, and clinical colleagues to ensure joined-up support

* Provide training and guidance to staff on communication strategies

* Create a clinically informed and supportive learning environment

* Build trusting, consistent relationships with young people and families

What You'll Need:

* HCPC registration as a qualified Speech & Language Therapist

* Specialist experience working with children and young people with complex needs

* Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

* Confidence in providing consultation, training, and team guidance

* A passion for supporting vulnerable children to achieve their full potential
