The Role

We are recruiting for a hands-on Installation / Commissioning Engineer to work on smoke ventilation (AOV) systems across construction sites in London and surrounding areas.

This is a site-based role, working in live construction environments. You'll be involved in the installation, testing, and commissioning of life-safety systems on active projects.

Important to Know

This is a hands-on site role (construction environment)
Travel required across London, Essex, and M25
Driving licence is essential (company van provided after probation)
CSCS or ECS card required

Responsibilities

Installation and commissioning of smoke ventilation / AOV systems
Working on-site across various construction projects
Fault finding and resolving installation issues
Ensuring systems are installed and operating correctly
Working alongside site teams and project managers
Maintaining high health & safety standards

What We are Looking For

Proven experience installing smoke ventilation / AOV systems (ESSENTIAL)
Background in installation or commissioning (not just maintenance)
Comfortable working in construction site environments
Ability to read drawings and follow technical instructions
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
