Behaviour Mentor Wanted for January Start | NG8 Nottingham
Teaching Personnel are currently working closely alongside one of our partner schools in the NG8 area of Nottingham, who are currently on the lookout for a full time Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a full time basis in January. The successful candidate will need to have a clear understanding of the needs of vulnerable children and their families, being able to demonstrate interpersonal skills that can lead to positive attitude to learning in and around the classroom.
The main duties of the post are:
- Identify pupils who need extra help to overcome barriers to learning, both inside and outside school
- Maintain regular contact with families/carers of pupils receiving support and encourage positive family involvement in the pupil's learning and behaviour
- Assist in the development and implementation of education, behaviour, support and mentoring plans for identified pupils
