Start Date: 05/01/2026
Salary: £150-£220 per day

Education Personnel is supporting a primary school in the NG16 area of Nottinghamshire to recruit an EYFS Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for an EYFS Teacher to join a school with a nursery and reception provision that feeds directly into its main primary classes, offering continuity of learning from age 3 through to the end of Key Stage 2. The school's nursery and early years settings are integrated with the wider school curriculum, helping children settle quickly and giving them a strong foundation in early literacy, numeracy and personal development.

The school is committed to creating an environment where every child is supported to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning. Staff work closely together to ensure smooth transitions into full-time education, and there is strong engagement with families to support children's progress both in school and at home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching in the EYFS, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Develop a reflective and enriching learning environment that supports all areas of early development
• Use assessment to monitor progress and tailor provision to individual needs
• Work effectively with parents and carers to support learning and wellbeing
• Collaborate with support staff and colleagues to maintain continuity of provision
• Participate in school events and contribute to wider school life

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in EYFS settings
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early literacy/maths development
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to support learners with a range of needs
• Commitment to working collaboratively within a school community

Why work with Education Personnel?

• Access to primary and EYFS teaching roles across Nottinghamshire
• A dedicated consultant for ongoing support
• Competitive weekly pay
