Warehouse Operative - Food ServicePermanent High Wycombe£15.00 - £17.00 per hour Monday - Friday, 1:30am – 10:30am*Driving license is essential* We are recruiting for a Night Warehouse Operative to join a well-established, family-run food service business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, physical role within a close-knit team environment and is looking for long-term progression into warehouse or operations management. Working across both frozen and ambient environments, you will play a key role in preparing customer orders and ensuring vehicles are accurately loaded ahead of daily deliveries.The role

• Picking and preparing customer orders from frozen and ambient stock locations
• Loading delivery vehicles accurately in line with invoices and delivery manifests
• Maintaining strict stock rotation (FIFO) and product integrity
• Supporting goods-in, stock organisation and warehouse housekeeping
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
• Assisting with deliveries on an ad-hoc basis
• Working collaboratively within a small team to meet early morning dispatch deadlines

About you

• Previous experience within a food service, food distribution or food warehouse environment is essential
• Full driving license with access to own vehicle
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when checking invoices against loaded orders
• Good understanding of stock rotation and temperature-controlled environments
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role during the night
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently within a small team
