Position Summary:

The Business Development Partner Support Provider (BDPSP) supports business development initiatives for both the NASM and AFAA brands. Primary responsibilities include the management of partnership deliverables requiring effective and efficient collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. The BDPSP will work under the guidance of the B2B Sales and Business Development Director and will assist in vetting potential partners and partnership opportunities while providing administrative and operational support to achieve business development goals.

This position is based in Chandler, AZ.

Responsibilities:

  • Management and execution of partnership deliverables necessary to support the achievement of strategic partnership initiatives. Duties will include collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, assisting in creating and executing action plans, and supporting strong relationships with partners. Must be able to work cross-functionally with both sales and marketing stakeholders as necessary.
  • Management of web, telephone and email-based inquiries, allocating, when qualified, to the Business Development Director, in order to successfully vet strategic partnership opportunities quickly and efficiently.
  • Create and manage monthly Business Development Reports with Business Development Director. Reports will include key metrics such as revenue generation, ROI, partner alignment with NASM & AFAA values and growth strategies, as well as partner and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Research & deliver intelligence to the Business Development Director that will support the Business Development Director in identifying new lead opportunities.
  • Support the Business Development Director in general business development activity where necessary. For example, preparing for and supporting partner events, visits, and meetings.

 Job Specifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in related job field with a proven record of success.
  • Previous sales, marketing, operations or international experience in the fitness industry is desirable.

 Skills & Abilities:

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Resourceful problem-solver who can think laterally and critically to leverage opportunities within a variety of markets.
  • Analytical and financial skills. Proficient in Microsoft CRM, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Team player who can effectively collaborate and build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and constituents to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Effectively communicate with partners and customers across all cultures.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to organize and prioritize workflow on complex projects to meet deadlines.
  • Professional, driven, customer-focused.

Other Requirements:

  • Travel to industry events will be required.
