We have a great setting seeking an experienced Nursery Nurse. Located close to Walton on Thames, Surrey the nursery is within a short walk of local shops and has good public transport links.
You will be responsible for creating an environment in which children’s individual needs are met and for supporting the team in ensuring that high quality childcare is provided to all.

Responsibilities:
- The Nursery Nurse will work in partnership with parent and carers, catering for all children’s individual needs; observing, planning and evaluating development activities; keeping accurate records and maintaining regular contact and communication with parents
- Support the Room Leader to ensure that all nursery initiatives are fully embedded into the room, following and implementing the EYFS
- Respond to parent queries or requests in professional manner, seeking help or signposting parents to the correct person within the nursery as appropriate
- To take good care and responsibility for equipment and furniture in the room, ensuring that any issues are flagged appropriately
- Experience of working in a day nursery
- Relevant and recognised Early Years qualification – Level 3 or above
- Understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements, safeguarding and paediatric first aid
- Valid DBS check
