We're currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a major earthworks and infrastructure scheme based in Suffolk. The role involves supporting bulk excavation, muck shift, and drainage works on a large-scale enabling package.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for cut/fill operations, site clearance, and haul roads

*

Providing accurate levels and profiles using GPS/total station equipment

*

Monitoring progress against programme and specifications

*

Supporting QA, reporting, and maintaining site records

*

Liaising with site supervisors, subcontractors, and engineers

*

Conducting volume calculations and as-built surveys

Requirements:

*

Proven experience on earthworks and civils projects

*

Competent in the use of Leica or Trimble GPS equipment

*

CSCS card - essential

*

SMSTS or SSSTS - beneficial

*

Ability to manage own setting out and interpret technical drawings

*

Right to work in the UK
