QA Engineer / Technician - Manufacturing
Location: Lancashire
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum 
 
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer/Technician to join our manufacturing team in Lancashire. This role is critical in ensuring that products meet quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the production process.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured products
Develop and implement inspection and test plans (ITPs)
Identify, document, and investigate non-conformances and quality issues
Support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve quality and reduce defects
Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality systems, and health & safety requirements
Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation
Assist with internal and external audits 
Requirements:

Previous experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001) and inspection techniques
Experience using measuring equipment (e.g. calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Relevant technical qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent preferred)
