We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established SEN primary school located in SE23, seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join their supportive team.

The Role:

Class teacher role with responsibility for a small class of primary-aged learners (Key Stage 2)
Initial contract for a minimum of one term, with potential to extend

Care and pastoral duties for your class, supported by two experienced teaching assistants

Manage your own lesson planning and delivery

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - no Early Career Teachers (ECTs) considered

Proven experience teaching in UK primary schools

Experience or strong interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN) preferred - pupils include those with autism and other complex needs

Must have native-level or near-native fluency in English, due to the high prevalence of speech and communication difficulties among pupils

Candidates from secondary education seeking to move into primary will not be considered

Additional Information:

Small class sizes (approximately 9 pupils) ensuring focused, individualised support
