The Opportunity:
Service Service is recruiting for a growing engineering company in Worcester seeking a skilled Electronic Test Engineer. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of electronic and electromechanical systems, testing products before they are dispatched to customers. You’ll join a supportive and technically driven team, with the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and process development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test a range of electronic products and systems as well as single phase and 3-phase motor control and PLC systems
- Test computer-based data acquisition systems and components using standard electronic test equipment
- Read and interpret schematic circuits and wiring diagrams to understand product functionality
- Write and maintain test procedures, reports, and documentation
- Provide constructive feedback to Engineering and Production teams to support continuous improvement
- Ensure all testing is completed safely and to the required standard
About You:
- Experience testing electronic and electromechanical systems as well as 240V single-phase and 415V three-phase
- Understanding of closed-loop control, solid-state and inverter-based control systems
- Ability to read and interpret analogue and digital circuits
- Methodical problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and collaboratively across departments
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
