Key Responsibilities

Preparing accurate and detailed electrical cost estimates for various projects.

Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.

*

Identifying risks and value engineering opportunities within tenders.

*

Working closely with design and project teams to ensure alignment between costings and project requirements.

*

Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions and supporting contract negotiations.

*

Staying updated on market rates, materials, and emerging technologies.

Skills & Experience Required

*

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E or construction industry.

*

Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards.

*

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

*

Familiarity with estimating software and Excel.

*

Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.

*

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

*

Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (preferred).
