Staff365 are proud to be partnering with a market leading manufacturing business seeking a forward thinking and methodically minded Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on a Permanent basis.

Salary - . £18.70 - 20.00 per hour plus overtime

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be working as part of the existing maintenance department who are responsible for providing maintenance to machinery ensuring that levels of production are not affected. The work will be a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance. Successful candidates will have some relevant work experience, and be further educated in some form of mechanical / engineering qualification.

Role: - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Shifts: - Monday to Friday - Rotating Shift Patterns (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm & 10pm - 6am)

Location: - Rotherham S63

Duties will include:-

Conducting mechanical repairs to breakdown of machinery and equipment.

Maintain job completion records through their cloud-based system, with an understanding of using tablets.

Working with a bespoke computer based maintenance program, carrying out maintenance / work requests in a timely manner and to our partners' high standards.

Set up machinery when product changes are required ensuring that downtime is reduced and efficiencies are increased.

Skills required:-

Able to work on own initiative and with a small team depending on business needs.

Work under pressure and coordinate with management to ensure workflow demands are met.

Forward and methodical thinker.

Basic understanding of safety for themselves and others around them.
