About the roleWe’re looking for a detail-focused Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in high-volume invoice processingwho wants to grow their career in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll play a key role in managing supplier invoices, payments, and records across multiple business divisions.
What you’ll be doing- Process purchase invoices and match them to purchase orders or delivery records.
- Maintain accurate ledger entries and handle statement reconciliations.
- Liaise with internal teams and respond to supplier queries promptly.
- Process bacs payments and ensure supplier accounts are up-to-date.
- Set up new suppliers and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor inboxes, scan and file documents, and assist with ad hoc finance tasks.
What we’re looking for- Experience in high-volume invoice processing.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, confident, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Competent in Microsoft office, particularly excel and word.
Qualifications- No formal qualifications required — experience and accuracy are key.
