About the role

We’re looking for a detail-focused Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in high-volume invoice processingwho wants to grow their career in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll play a key role in managing supplier invoices, payments, and records across multiple business divisions.

What you’ll be doing
  • Process purchase invoices and match them to purchase orders or delivery records.
  • Maintain accurate ledger entries and handle statement reconciliations.
  • Liaise with internal teams and respond to supplier queries promptly.
  • Process bacs payments and ensure supplier accounts are up-to-date.
  • Set up new suppliers and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor inboxes, scan and file documents, and assist with ad hoc finance tasks.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in high-volume invoice processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, confident, and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Competent in Microsoft office, particularly excel and word.
Qualifications
  • No formal qualifications required — experience and accuracy are key.
