Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for the Caron Treatment Centers located in Wernersville, Pennsylvania
This Chef Manager will oversee dining operations in one of the Cafe's for this 256 bed Drug and Alcohol treatment facility. Typical shift will be 11:00am-8:00pm, may vary with rotating weekend coverage and some holidays. The candidate should have a fine dining background as the Cafe serves our VIP patients. Will teach and develop food production employees in culinary skills, train and develop front of house Staff in exceptional customer services. This is a hands-on position moving from back of the house to front of the house and administrative financial duties,such as payroll, inventories and prodiction. Position manages; the daily operations of the kitchen and Cafe operation, manage approximately 10-15 employees, Sodexo financial budgets, the production processes, some catered events, and customer service enhancements.
Ideal Candidate Skills and Certification:
Contract food service management experience / ideally in a healthcare or Senior living environment
Hands on skills with food production and standard recipes
Experience managing food cost and coordinating invoicing
Skills to train & develop food production & dining room staff
Computer skills; food, labor, financial management systems
Experience enhancing customer service programs
