We are looking for reliable and committed individuals to support the exceptional NHS Staff within the Ambulance Service control Hubs on an ongoing project within emergency operation centres.

Band 3 11.11 per hour + enhancements for evening/weekend working and Bank holidays
Full time 37.5hrs

The Emergency Medical Dispatcher connects people with emergency help during a time of medical needs. It’s a crucial role and can be the difference between life and death for callers. The day-to-day duties and responsibilities of an Emergency Medical Dispatcher include:
Answering inbound calls promptly
Listening to the caller and determining what type of medical assistance they require
Alerting the paramedic team that’s closest to the caller
Informing the Paramedic team of the emergency situation
Updating the Paramedic team of further information once the team is on route
Communicating with the paramedics while they’re in transit and on the scene
These opportunities are 37.5 hours per week across 24 hours / 7 days a week rota period - You must be fully flexible to work all shifts including some Bank Holidays (please do not apply if you can`t)
