New Business Account Manager - South West (Hybrid)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + Company Car + Commission / Bonus Structure

The Role

My client is a leading hire company specialising in temporary and modular buildings, supplying high-quality accommodation solutions to the construction industry across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a New Business Account Manager to develop new client relationships across the South West region.

Although this role offers hybrid working, the successful candidate must be based in the South West of the UK in order to effectively manage client relationships and travel to sites and meetings across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys identifying opportunities, building long-term relationships and winning new business within the construction sector.

The role will focus on targeting construction contractors and developers that require temporary accommodation solutions including site offices, welfare units, modular buildings and associated facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the construction sector
• Build strong relationships with main contractors, subcontractors, developers and project teams
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and contract award
• Conduct client meetings, project visits and industry networking across the South West
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and customer satisfaction
• Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and accurately manage activity through CRM systems
• Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets

Candidate Requirements

• Proven new business sales experience, ideally within construction, plant hire, modular buildings or a related sector
• Experience working with or selling to construction contractors or developers would be highly advantageous
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently
• Must be based in the South West of the UK
• Full UK driving licence
