£16.73 p/h – Circa £38.2K/Band 6 Equivalent 44 Hours – Days Dementia Unit Great Benefits A leading Tyne and Wear nursing home is currently looking to recruit an experienced Mental Health Nurse to work as Clinical Lead in their dementia unit. The small home in Sunderland offers a range of care and support services to older people, and in addition to having an excellent local reputation, the home has achieved outstanding CQC quality grades. Details of this RMN Clinical Lead post and what the service is offering:
• A permanent contract to work 44 hours per week, usually working day shifts but with some flexibility to meet the needs of the home
• Competitive hourly pay rates of £16.73. which is in line with NHS band 6 rates and equates to a salary in the region of £38,280

• Free uniforms and DBS fee paid As Clinical Lead, you will create, manage and monitor care plans and medication records, in addition to managing staffing rotas and leading and developing the care and nursing teams. • NMC registered Mental Health Nurse/RMN
• Demonstrate proven experience in dementia care, and a passion for supporting older people with dementia and associated cognitive impairments
• Passionate about delivering a high-quality service that promotes the independence, choice and dignity of service users
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an approachable and friendly nature
