Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and hands-on Working Site Manager to join our client's team for a retail store refresh program along the M62 corridor. This exciting project involves a range of tasks, including decorations work, changing of ceiling panels, and amclad installation.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring the project progresses smoothly and meets quality standards.
* Supervise a team of workers, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
* Perform hands-on work as required, demonstrating a willingness to pick up various tasks on the tools.
* Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety protocols and conducting regular inspections.
* Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to facilitate project success.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on retail store renovation or refresh projects.
* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
* First Aid certification.
* Asbestos Awareness certification.
* IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification.
* Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
* Ability to work night shifts and travel along the M62 corridor as needed.
* Full UK driving license.
