Machinery Delivery & Customer Support Operative

Location: Ulting Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Hours: Full-time (39 hours per week) Full UK Driving Licence Required

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Machinery Delivery & Customer Support Operative based in Ulting. This hands-on role involves delivering machinery, ensuring customers understand safe operation, and representing our company in a professional and positive manner.

Working Hours

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break each day

Overtime: Paid at time and a half once 39 hours are completed Monday–Friday Saturdays: As and when required (overtime rate applies)

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver machinery to a wide range of customers
• Demonstrate and promote safe use of equipment
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
• Build and strengthen customer relationships
• Positively promote the company and product range
• Liaise with customers and suppliers as required
• Attend training courses to maintain compliance and technical knowledge

Essential Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of groundcare machinery (advantageous)
• Mechanical or hands-on technical background (beneficial)
• Experience safely loading heavy machinery/equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self-motivated and confident working independently
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Smart, clean, and professional appearance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good general level of fitness
• Full UK driving licence
