Job Title: Quality Inspector / CNC Machinist
Location: Shipley

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm (45-minute lunch break)
Friday: 7:30am - 11:00am (early finish)

Pay Rate: £17.50+ per hour (dependent on experience and skill level)

The Role:
Thrive Group Wakefield are currently recruiting for a skilled Quality Inspector / CNC Machinist to join a well-established engineering company based in Shipley. This is a mixed role, combining both machining and inspection duties, so flexibility and a varied skill set are essential.

This position would suit a candidate with a strong background in either CNC Milling or CNC Turning, who also has experience in quality inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC Milling or CNC Turning machines
• Carrying out quality inspections of machined components
• Using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment confidently
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Ensuring all products meet required specifications and quality standards
• Supporting production and quality teams as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in CNC machining (milling or turning)
• Competent in using a CMM (essential)
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Previous quality inspection experience
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
