This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing special school, part of a multi-academy trust, which opened in September 2020.

Grass Roots are supporting a client in their search for an inspirational Teacher with a passion for Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a creative, innovative approach to delivering the curriculum. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on students' learning and development.

We are seeking a motivated and determined individual who is committed to ensuring students make meaningful progress while enhancing their overall educational experience.

The Role

* Flexible working options: 4 or 5 days per week

* Initial contract: 1 term

* Subjects: PSHE and basic ICT

* Potential for a long-term position for the right candidate

About the School

The school supports young people aged 8-16 with a wide range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Many pupils are also on the autistic spectrum, and some may display challenging behaviours.

The school serves Ipswich and the surrounding areas of Suffolk and is part of a wider network of special schools, working collaboratively with partner settings. There are also exciting plans to expand, including the opening of a new special school in Romford.
