Quality Engineer - Manufacturing

Location: Bournemouth

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

We're working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Bournemouth who are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across production.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and develop quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Carry out internal and external audits as required.
Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Review and analyse quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Support new product introduction (NPI) with quality planning and documentation. 

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 (additional standards such as AS9100 or IATF16949 advantageous).
Experience with PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and other quality tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Confident using measurement and inspection equipment and quality software
