My client is looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst to join a small Finance team and support a wide range of operational cost areas, including payroll, delivery, and property.

This is a key role where your insights will help drive cost control, improve efficiency, and support strategic decision-making across the business. You’ll work closely with finance and operational teams to deliver meaningful analysis and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and timely cost reporting in line with financial standards.
• Develop tools to monitor operational performance and productivity.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure value for money on indirect spend.
• Support business case development and capital expenditure reviews.
• Identify and resolve cost-related issues across operational teams.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to improve cost visibility.
• Drive process improvements and support transformation initiatives.

Experience Required

• 2+ years’ experience in an analytical role
• Part Qualified/Qualified ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience
• Experience using data visualisation tools such as SQL/Tableau/Power BI
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical thinking.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Proficient in working with large datasets and delivering actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex data clearly.
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency and value.

Understanding of data privacy and IT security principles.
