Join James Ray Recruitment as a Secondary Science Teacher supporting schools and academies across the Liverpool. Due to increasing demand for high-quality science educators, we are seeking a passionate teacher to deliver engaging Science lessons from KS3 to KS4 on a long-term basis starting immediately until Christmas.

About the Role

As a Science Teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining high educational standards by delivering well-structured and engaging science lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. You will support students' academic progress across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work within supportive school settings across Liverpool while making a meaningful impact on students' learning and development during the autumn term.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Maintain a positive and focused learning environment

Adapt teaching methods to support different learning styles and abilities

Implement effective classroom and behaviour management strategies

Assess and provide constructive feedback to support student progress

Work collaboratively with department staff and support teams

Requirements

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3/KS4)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A genuine passion for Science education and student success

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

Ability to adapt quickly within different school environments
