School Nurse (Maternity Cover) - London

Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading independent sixth form and private school in central London. The School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate School Nurse to provide vital healthcare support on a maternity cover basis from September 2025.

The Role:

Key duties include:

Treating minor injuries and managing chronic conditions
Administering and managing medication safely
Maintaining up-to-date student medical records
Supporting safeguarding and pastoral initiatives
Liaising with parents, GPs, and external healthcare providers
Participating in health promotion and emergency readiness training
Being part of the on-call rota for overnight and weekend support
About You:

NMC-registered (RGN or RSCN)
Minimum 2 years' post-registration experience
Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills
Calm under pressure, with a reassuring and professional manner
Confident in wound care, safeguarding, and health education
