Company: BEE CONSTRUCTION LTD

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £30000 - £35000/annum

We are currently recruiting for a proactive and highly organised Administrator to join a well-established construction and maintenance provider working with local authorities and social housing providers across the Midlands.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and has previous experience supporting works within housing—be it void refurbishments, disabled adaptations, kitchens and bathrooms, or day-to-day repairs.
Someone who has previously worked in construction would also be a strong advantage, as it will help you better understand the day-to-day demands of the role and the teams you'll be supporting.
You'll be working closely with the Contracts Manager and wider operational teams, providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth coordination of ongoing works, excellent communication with clients and contractors, and the successful delivery of community-focused projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
*
Coordinating documentation and scheduling for contracts across voids, maintenance, roofing, and adaptations
*
Liaising with tenants, local authority representatives, and internal teams
*
Supporting the Contracts Manager in day-to-day operations and project tracking
*
Managing incoming and outgoing communications, emails, and reports
*
Producing and maintaining spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
*
Document handling for inspections, compliance, and handovers
*
Updating records, portals, and internal systems accurately and efficiently
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*
Previous administration experience in a housing or property maintenance setting (e.g. council, housing association, or private sector)
*
Familiarity with voids, adaptations, or repairs workflows is highly desirable
*
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
*
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
*
A proactive and team-oriented attitude with a focus on problem-solving
*
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
*
Experience in or understanding of construction environments would be a real plus
This is more than just an admin role—it's an opportunity to join a team that truly makes a difference in people's lives, helping deliver works that improve safety, comfort, and living standards in communities across the region
