Consumer Campaign Project Manager

SALARY: £34000/annum Excellent benefits

As Consumer Campaign Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects and campaign activities in support of all consumer behaviour change programmes. You will develop and support innovative partnerships with business, community groups, charities and local authorities in order to encourage waste prevention with individuals and businesses. This is a full time 35 hours per week, fixed term contract position until April 2020 and based in Banbury.

Job responsibilities for the Consumer Campaign Project Manager

* Managing a portfolio of projects, partnership initiatives and direct campaign delivery activities; ensuring delivery on time and to budget with achievement of agreed communication activities and outputs

* Working flexibly within the Campaign Project Management Pool to deliver campaign activities and develop key partnerships

* Supporting Campaign Managers in the development of research, insights and knowledge which underpin the company's understanding of consumer attitudes and behaviour

* Promoting key strategic partnerships working in the core campaign areas and provide 'hands on' advice, support and management of funding to selected partners to help them meet campaign objectives

* Managing and developing the design of materials for partners and direct delivery, ensuring that they are produced to the highest standard and maintain the integrity of the company's brands

* Ensuring consumer insights, materials and knowledge are shared with appropriate partners

* Sharing best practice in campaign project management, contract management and internal processes and systems to ensure effective and consistent delivery in the team

* Providing progress reports and expenditure forecasts for projects as required by the Campaign Manager or Programme Area Manager to inform monthly and quarterly reporting on the programme; including those relating to monitoring and evaluation of partnership/project impacts.

* Ensuring all projects and partnership initiatives are carried out in line with aims and objectives.

* Campaign Project Managers will be responsible for project development, execution, monitoring and evaluation of activities from initiation to closure in line with the established principles and operating procedures

Skills required for the Consumer Campaign Project Manager

* Experience of successfully delivering behaviour change projects to consumer audiences

* Experience of communications and /or marketing

* Demonstrable experience of development of alliances and partnerships to meet delivery of objectives

* Demonstrable experience of providing support to partners - including management of grants or other funds

* Demonstrable experience of excellent project management skills

* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

* Sound knowledge of food sector and food waste issues (desirable)

* Commercial Awareness - Liaises with appropriate people in other business, public sector and third sector organisations to work together on activities which support shared objectives

* Planning organising - Prioritises own activity to manage volume of work and achieve agreed targets. Plan individual projects from initiation to prepare realistic estimates of time and resources required to deliver support and build in contingencies and time for dealing with set-backs.

* Analysis decision making - Uses systematic processes to evaluate data and make decisions.

* Achieving targets - Shows perseverance and resilience in dealing with setbacks, overcoming problems that could prevent reaching targets

* Quality focus - Checks own work for accuracy and continues to deliver high quality work even when under pressure.

* Strategic thinking - Understands how own work contributes to the Company strategic objectives. Proactively seeks clarification of objectives to ensure own contribution is aligned to overall Company goals

* Stakeholder management - Develops and maintains effective working relationships with people at all levels in support of accomplishing personal and team targets.

* Influencing negotiating - Shows respect for the views of others; works through problems to reach solutions acceptable to all parties. Willing to confront issues to get them resolved, referring to their manager where appropriate
