Daytime Healthcare are assisting a leading care group to find a Registered Manager to join the team in Ilford.

The Registered Manager is responsible for leading the Ofsted regulated service and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. In keeping with the Company ethos, the Registered Manager is focused on quality, excellent service delivery, business development and the drive for commercial success.

This would also be a great opportunity for a Deputy Manager to progress to a more Senior position.

Key Responsibilities:

* Comply with Safeguarding Children's procedures at all times and promote an honest and open culture; ensuring all safeguarding risks are acted upon immediately and the relevant action taken to mitigate the risk.

* As a Registered Manager, ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, company policies and procedures and all standards at all times, achieving and maintaining an Ofsted rating of at least 'Good', with Outstanding being the goal

* Ensure that the highest standards of person-centred childcare that is focussed on obtaining the best outcomes for each child / young person within the home.

* Provide leadership and coaching in childcare practice within the home to ensure best outcomes for children / young people, actively promoting a culture of high performance

Requirements:

* Within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children

* Worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role

* Has the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or a qualification which the registered provider considers to be equivalent to the Level 5 Diploma
