Care Supervisor - Nurse Qualified Or Former Nurse

£19.50 per hour (equates to NHS Band 7) Approx 25 hours Days Some Weekends & On-Call Requirement Driver Required Female Only An RGN qualified Nurse or a candidate formally Nurse qualified with a background in elderly care, is required to work as Care Supervisor in a unique setting in Brentwood. This is a newly created role which will involve coordinating and managing care for the elderly and frail members of a religious community in the local area. Details of this Care Supervisor position and what the successful candidate will receive:
• Approximately 25 hours per week on flexible day shifts, with some evening, weekend and on-call work required
• A very competitive hourly pay rate in the region of £19.50 per hour which equates to NHS Band 7
• You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others As Care Supervisor, you will manage and monitor care, lead a team of HCAs and ensure that excellent standards of clinical and personal care are maintained. You will participate in staff recruitment, training and rota management in addition to overseeing all aspects of the health and wellbeing of the patients in your care and liaising with colleagues and external healthcare professionals. Please be aware that as this is a new role, hours, duties and responsibilities may evolve. What we are looking for in a Care Supervisor:
• NMC registered Adult General Nurse/RGN or former Nurse whose Pin has lapsed/expired
• Demonstrate recent clinical experience in an elderly care setting
• Experienced in a managerial role in a clinical environment, with staff management experience
• A driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes
• Able to work flexibly and undertake on-call duties
