Wordpress Developer

Role Description:

We are seeking a talented WordPress Web Developer to join our team. Collaborating closely with our designers, developers, and our client team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting robust and innovative websites, web applications, and digital marketing materials.

This is a full-time hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work remotely as needed, while also being based at our Reading office. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end web development, responsive web design, and web design, ensuring the highest quality output.

Skills and Experience - Must-haves:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in WordPress website development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in WordPress PHP templating techniques for theming
• Excellent command of HTML(5) and CSS(3)
• Ability to develop cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
• Familiarity with JQuery and bespoke PHP development/API connections

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate timing estimates on work tasks
• Contribute to documentation, including client training notes and process documentation
• Engage with clients to discuss technical solutions and offer innovative ideas
• Maintain a keen awareness of industry trends, particularly in accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies
• Foster close collaboration within the development team, sharing ideas and supporting colleagues
• Pursue ongoing professional development by staying abreast of new technologies
