CNC Miller - Fanuc / Mastercam Programmer, Setter & Operator

Location: Ferndown, Dorset
Salary: Up to £22 per hour
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Thursday (4-day week)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join a precision engineering team in Ferndown. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist who enjoys working with Fanuc-controlled milling machines and programming offline with Mastercam. You'll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC mills to produce high-quality components for a range of industries.

Key Duties

* Offline programming using Mastercam.

* Setting and operating Fanuc CNC milling machines.

* Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.

* Selecting tooling, workholding, and ensuring accurate setups.

* Carrying out first-off inspections and maintaining quality standards.

* Working closely with the team to meet production deadlines.

What We're Looking For

* Strong CNC milling background with Fanuc controls.

* Proven experience in offline programming (Mastercam).

* Ability to set and operate machines independently.

* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Team player with a proactive approach.
