Level 2/ Level 3 nursery practitioner to work in the baby room

* Wednesdays and Thursdays only (Apply online only))

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development through play and structured activities.

Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.

* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.

* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.

* Manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care.

* Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery environment and promote children's interests.

* Demonstrate leadership skills by mentoring junior staff and contributing to team meetings.

* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space, ensuring it is welcoming for children and families.

Qualifications

* Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.

* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable.

* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour.

* A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.

* Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both children and colleagues.

* A commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of early years education.
