With a growing workload and being awarded new contracts, my client is currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers (Tramping) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations nationwide in a safe and timely manner.

With a growing workload and being awarded new contracts, we are currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers (Tramping) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations nationwide in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secure for transportation
Perform routine vehicle daily walk around checks; reporting any defects
Communicate with the Transport Office to update on delivery status
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle daily walk around checks.

HGV Class 1 Driver (Tramping) Job Requirements

A minimum of 1-year commercial driving
Class 1 licence, valid CPC, Digi card
Good understanding of EU and Working Time Directive Drivers Hours regulations
Flexible approach to work
Be able to do occasional Saturday & Sunday work upon request

HGV Class 1 Driver (Tramping) Salary & Benefits

£12.80-£19.20 per hour
Expected hours: 45 - 60 per week
