I am currently working with a leading Electrical company based in Devon who have been established in the commercial and industrial industry for over 24 years and have expanded their client base in the South West. They are now looking to for an experienced Electrician to join the team on a permanent bass to carry out installation, fixed wire testing, fault finding and remedial works in commercial and industrial settings.

As this role is mobile and covering various sites, a full, UK driving license is essential for a suitable candidate, you would be covering sites in the Devon area.

Responsibilities:

Electrical services installations in industrial and commercial environments 

Cable tray, ladder systems, and containment installation

Power and control cable installation and terminating

Installation of instrumentation cable systems and terminating 

Installation and commissioning of equipment for industrial facilities 

Troubleshoot equipment on site 

Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning on site

Ability to read schematics and other drawings

Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to adhere to stringent Health and Safety rules and promote a safe working environment 

Industrial and commercial Electrical Experience is essential 

18th Edition Qualified 

2391 Inspection and Testing qualified (or equivalent) 

JIB gold card preferred 

Familiarity with completing permits to work and will be able to complete accurate and concise paperwork 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

Familiar with client protocols and requirements of a professional team.

To receive and fully understand client briefs and any project constraints 

Experience in a customer facing role.

UK Driving licence

On offer:

the salary is up to £40k based on

40 hours per week,

Monday-Friday, 8am-4.30pm,

company van plus some other great benefits.
