We are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher with a specialism in Maths to cover a long-term vacancy starting from September 2025. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing consistent education throughout the week and will be involved in planning and marking alongside teaching.
Day-to-day of the role: - Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in advance.
- Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development activities.
- Utilise allocated Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time effectively to enhance teaching practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Maths.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at the required level.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive, engaging, and motivating learning environment.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
