Private Client Solicitor - 5 Years PQE

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our clients respected and growing Private Client team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private client matters and play a key role in delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on all aspects of private client work including:
  • Wills and estate planning
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Trust creation and administration
  • Powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters
  • Inheritance Tax and succession planning
• Managing a complex caseload with minimal supervision
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, offering a proactive and empathetic approach
• Supporting junior members of the team through supervision and mentoring
• Participating in business development and marketing initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE in private client work
• Strong technical knowledge of private client law and tax
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships
• STEP qualification (or working towards) highly desirable
• Commercially aware with a proactive attitude toward business development
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
